Ashley was born and raised in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia and moved to Alberta in 2007. Although she misses the ocean, she now considers Alberta home.
Ashley graduated from the dental assisting program at SAIT in 2012. She has worked in many different areas of dental including Pediatric dentistry, dental surgery and dental administration. She joined Northmount Dental Care in April 2022 and is happy to be part of the Northmount Dental Care team.
Brittany has experience working in the dental field for over 20 years. She has worked in many different capacities in dental including general assisting, dental surgery and as an orthodontic assistant.
She has enjoyed working at Northmount Dental for 12 years, taking some short breaks to raise a family. Outside of the clinic Brittany enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 kids, entertaining friends, exploring what the city has to offer for restaurants and music and travelling with her family.
Cerrieann, is a registered dental hygienist passionate about personalized patient care and oral health education.
Cerrieann studied Dental Hygiene in Toronto and returned back to Calgary to embark on her health care journey. She strives to empower every smile by providing overall health guidance and lasting oral hygiene care plans.
Beyond the dental clinic, she finds joy in exploring the world and the great outdoors through camping trips and exhilarating mountain bike adventures!
Diane was born and raised in Calgary and has many years of experience in the dental industry. After completing her bachelors degree at the University of Calgary, Diane took time off to raise her three daughters. She returned to the dental industry ten years ago and enjoys interacting with the patients at Northmount Dental Care to ensure everyone has a pleasant experience.
In her spare time, Diane enjoys cooking, watching movies, hockey games and spending time with her friends and family.
Kim completed the dental office administration program in 1993 and throughout her 23 year dental reception career, had an opportunity to work in the arctic where she enjoyed being able to see and work in a new diversified culture.
Kim has a very positive attitude and great sense of humour, which allows her to get to know patients on a more personal level other than being just a patient. Kim treats every patient as an individual. With Kim, your concerns will be her primary focus.
In her spare time Kim enjoys going to the gym, taking long walks with her dog and all sporting activities. She dabbles in painting, pottery, playing guitar and reading non-fiction.
While studying psychology Lisa helped her newly graduated sister by working the front desk at her dental clinic in Edmonton. She enjoyed it so much she made the switch from psychology to dental and has worked as a dental administrator for over 20 years now.
Lisa couldn’t be more pleased to be working in such a positive and caring office. "The team always goes the extra mile for their patients."
In her spare time Lisa loves spending time with her husband Sheldon, her daughter Hanna and their Wheaton terrier Sookie. They love the Okanagan and spend their summer holidays enjoying the beautiful lakes and country side.
Lynn recently joined Northmount Dental and is happy to be part of this great team! She brings with her 20 years of experience working as an assistant in the industry and has a particular interest in working with the elderly, making them feel comfortable, and in orthodontics helping to create healthy beautiful smiles. In her spare time she loves being with her husband and two sweet girls whether they are skiing, hiking, or travelling.
She's always looking for the best food, fashion and latest show to binge.
Minaaz has a passion for getting to know you as a patient. She always has a moment to chat or offer a warm beverage and she's usually one of the first people you'll meet in the office.
With a wealth of knowledge on insurance coverage, she'll be sure to help answer your questions and make your visit run as smoothly as possible.
As an engaged learner, Minaaz is always eager to learn and share new dental procedures and treatment plans with you.
Nashila was born in Dar Es Salaam, Tazania. She moved to Toronto in 1987 and completed her Grade 13, OAC at Coxwell High School in Toronto before attending Ryerson University. In 1992 she said goodbye to the East and hello to the mountains when she moved to Calgary. Here she attended Columbia College and completed her RDA II in 1993.
In 2008, Nashila completed the PDA (Preventive Dental Module), adding more weight to her resumé. She believes in working with you as a patient, and strives to be a part of improving your health, and this belief has made her a valuable asset at Northmount Dental Care. She also worked with the previous owners of the practice for 20 years and has built a wonderful long-term relationship with many of the clinic's patients.

Pia has been a dental assistant for over 15 years now and always enjoys coming into work! Pia enjoys all aspects of dentistry and how over the years responsibilities of assistants have changed and grown. Pia likes that her role is a constantly changing career with new technologies, new procedures and new products to learn.
For Pia, meeting new people is always special, “We all have different life experiences and I find it interesting and we can learn from others constantly.”
Along the way Pia have been given some great reading recommendations and some amazing places to go visit.
Pia loves spending time with her family. With 3 kids and all of their extracurricular activities they keep Pia hopping, but she still finds time for herself for crafts and enjoying the outdoors. Pia and her family also spend a lot of time together camping and discovering new places to travel.
Riley graduated from Columbia College's dental assisting program in 2023. Following her academic endeavors, Riley seamlessly transitioned into our team at Northmount to fulfill her practicum requirements, where she has since remained a dedicated member. Riley has been affiliated with our practice since childhood, fostering a profound familiarity with our values and principles. She particularly values Northmount for having a strong sense of community, which she perceives as a nurturing environment of support and compassion.
Demonstrating an unwavering commitment to professional growth, Riley exhibits enthusiasm for acquiring new knowledge and skills. Her proactive approach to patient care is evident in her willingness to immerse herself in various tasks and her consistent willingness to exceed expectations to ensure patient comfort and satisfaction.In her leisure time, Riley indulges in outdoor pursuits such as camping and enjoys quality time with her loved ones, cherishing moments spent in the company of family and friends.
Sam says that it's an honour to be part of the great team at Northmount dental with dentists who are so passionate providing the best care to their clients.
Samila also known as Sam, has a diploma in dental hygiene from University of Alberta in 2012 and from BSc from the University of Calgary in 2010.
Sam has travelled a lot, and was born in Afghanistan, lived in India, and then moved to Canada in 2000.
She loves sports especially volleyball and admires the beauty of nature. She likes to hike, bike and stay active and in the future, would love to dedicate her time volunteering and providing dental care to the rural areas of developing countries.
Sarah graduated Dental Hygiene with honours from Niagara College in 2002. Brining close to 15 years of experience to the team at Northmount; she has had the opportunity to practice Dental Hygiene in Ontario, British Columbia and even Switzerland before she arrived in Alberta ten years ago. (She can even speak a little bit of German in a pinch!)
She is passionate about providing the best care possible to every patient she meets, and prides herself on gentle comprehensive care and putting everyone at ease in her chair.

Sarah grew up on a horse farm near Barrie, Ontario. Sarah has a wonderful, loving husband and 2 amazing kids who bring her joy everyday. She loves spending time with her family, gardening, camping, travelling and listening to all kinds of music.
Shelli is a life long Calgarian with several years in customer service. In 2009 Shelli attended and completed the dental business administration course and knew she found her niche.
Shelli loves working as a dental administrator especially with the caring and supportive team at Northmount Dental Care.
In Shelli‘s spare time she enjoys being at the river, hanging out with family and friends, crafting, reading, football and spoiling her two cats
Whitney graduated from the Dental Assisting program at CDI College in 2021 and joined Northmount Dental Care as a temp shortly after, which then led to securing a full time position in 2023. Whitney was born and raised in Saskatchewan, and moved to Calgary in 2012 and previously worked as a Medical Office Assistant before deciding she wanted to pursue a career in dentistry.
Whitney has worked in the customer service industry since she was 14, and loves meeting and engaging in getting to know her customers and patients. Whitney finds that there is always a lesson or a story to learn from anyone and every she meets, that is one of her main reasons she continues to work with the general public.The dental treatment she had received over the years makes it easy to help bring ease and comfort into a field where most are anxious.
Whitney is excited to work not only with the amazing and supporting team at Northmount Dental, but to be able to learn and continue growing her knowledge in the dental field alongside knowledgeable dentists and team members.
